Open all day during exhibit hall hours in the Grand Oaks Ballroom
Stay in touch with your e-mail, news, and industry Web sites in our highly interactive StormConCyber Café. This networking area is provided exclusively for you by Modular Wetlands and Bio Clean Environmental. Conveniently located in the Grand Oaks Ballroom, the Cyber Café is the center of conference activity. Have some coffee, catch up with colleagues, and enjoy the energy of our comfortable, spacious café.

Dr. Stephan Nix, professor and dean of the Frank H. Dotterweich College of Engineering at Texas A&M UniversityKingsville
Dr. Stephen Nix received his BSc, M. Engr. and Ph.D. degrees from the University of Florida in Gainesville. He has led hydrologic research projects and municipal planning initiatives in New York, California, New Jersey, Florida, and Virginia and is the author of over 40 peer-reviewed articles and book chapters on water-quality engineering and management.

Nix is the author of the book Urban Stormwater Modeling and Simulation published by Lewis Publishers. He is a certified and registered professional hydrologist and has served several stints as an elected officer in ASCE organizations throughout the US. Nix was selected as the Florida Engineer of the Year in 2009 by the Florida Section of ASCE and has served on the engineering faculty of Syracuse University, the University of Alabama, Northern Arizona University, Florida Atlantic University, and most recently, as director of Engineering at the University of North Florida.
