Important Dates and Deadlines

For your convenience, we have provided the following summary of important conference dates and deadlines.

Conference Dates and Times
StormCon 2010 will be held at the JW Marriott San Antonio Hill Country Resort & Spa, San Antonio, Texas on August 1 – 5, 2010.  Pre-conference and Certifications are on August 1-2.  The exhibits hall will be open August 2-4 and the regular conference will be held August 3rd through the 5th. Exhibit hall date and time detail below.

Call for Papers Submission
The deadline for receiving abstracts is Wednesday, December 2, 2009. Please do not include supplemental materials.

Accepted final papers will be due to Forester Media by Monday, May 3, 2010.

Setup: 7:00 a.m.-4:00 p.m.
Exhibit Hall Open/Reception: 4:00 p.m.-7:00 p.m.
Tuesday, August 3, 2010
9:00 a.m.-12:15 p.m.
1:15 p.m.-5:30 p.m.
Wednesday, August 4, 2010
9:00 a.m.-12:15 p.m.
1:15 p.m.-5:30 p.m.
Dismantle: 5:30 p.m.-8:30 p.m.

Cancellations will be accepted only in accordance with the above schedule. There will be no refunds or cancellations received after January 16, 2010. Failure to make full payment of deposit on exhibit space rental fee by June 15, 2010 on a contract filed prior to or on that date, will subject Exhibitor to cancellation of contract by StormCon, forfeiture of deposit made, and liability for balance due. If Exhibitor does not occupy booth space at 3:00 p.m., Monday, August 2, 2010, StormCon shall have the right to use the space. Reletting by StormCon of an Exhibitor’s canceled space shall not act to excuse Exhibitor from assessment.
