Call for Abstracts
If you are interested in presenting at StormCon ’09, check back for detailed information for submitting an abstract.

The abstract submission deadline is Wednesday, December 10, 2008.

If your abstract is accepted you will be notified by e-mail and your conference paper will be due Wednesday, March 25, 2009.

Sessions
StormCon offers six tracks on the most relevant stormwater topics with more than 140 individual presentations. The tentative tracks will cover the following areas. Please check back for the final ’09 session tracks:

BMPs: Structural and nonstructural best management practices, techniques, tools, and technology to achieve water-quality goals.

Low-Impact Development: Infiltration, bioretention, rainwater harvesting, and other techniques to maintain or mimic predevelopment hydrology.

Stormwater Program Management: Regulatory compliance, funding, public education and outreach, and more.

Construction-Site BMPs: Compliance strategies for highway and heavy construction-sites to prevent erosion and sedimentation and to meet permit requirements.

Water-Quality Monitoring: Monitoring, sampling, assessment, modeling, tracking illicit discharges and pollutant sources, and watershed assessments.

Research & Testing of BMPs: Technical track for testing and comparing best management practice performance, and evaluating testing protocols.
